Detailed Eligibility

D-7-1: Intra-company Transfer

  • - Persons who have worked 1+ years at overseas HQ, parent company, subsidiary, etc.
  • - Persons dispatched as essential professional personnel to branches, subsidiaries, liaison offices in Korea
  • - Managerial positions, executives, specialized technical positions, etc.

D-7-2: Training Transfer

  • - Persons dispatched from overseas HQ to Korean corporation for training purposes
  • - Technology acquisition, job training, and other training activities

Issuance Requirements

HQ Work Experience

1+ year work experience at overseas HQ (or affiliated company). Exceptions possible for senior management or specialized professionals.

Legal Korean Entity

Branch, subsidiary, liaison office, etc. must be legally established and operating under Korean law.

HQ-Korea Entity Relationship

Parent-subsidiary relationship, branch relationship, business contract relationship must be proven between HQ and Korean entity.

Transfer Necessity

The position must be essential for Korean entity operations and difficult to replace with domestic personnel.

Salary Conditions

Salary plan at or above the domestic industry average.

Basic Documents

  • Integrated application form
  • Passport original and copy
  • Passport photo 1 (3.5cm x 4.5cm)
  • Fee

Head Office Documents

  • Head office corporate registration (or business certificate)
  • Certificate of employment at HQ (confirming 1+ year employment)
  • Transfer order or assignment letter
  • Recommendation/guarantee letter from HQ CEO

Korean Entity Documents

  • Korean branch (subsidiary) corporate registration or unique number certificate
  • Copy of business registration certificate
  • Business premises lease agreement
  • Business performance records (financial statements, revenue data, etc.)
  • Documents proving relationship between Korean entity and HQ

Other Documents

  • Employment contract (including salary, position, job description)
  • Academic and career certificates
  • Statement of transfer necessity (from Korean entity CEO)

* Foreign language documents require notarized Korean translation. Overseas-issued documents require Apostille or consular legalization.
